This week, we were on the road again, heading out to a rural property under the care of the National Trust in regional Victoria. When you’re out in the country, the jobs can be a little different, and sometimes you don’t know exactly what you’re walking into until you get there — and that’s part of the fun.
A Bit of a Mystery Brief
On this particular job, we knew we’d be helping with some electrical items and likely doing some thermal imaging. The full scope was still to be confirmed, but that’s common with older rural infrastructure. Every site tells a story once you arrive.
Remote Work, Real Care
Navigating our way through paddocks, cattle grids, and gravel tracks is just part of the process when you’re working out bush. It’s not always clear roads and city blocks — sometimes it’s crops, stones hitting the tray, and keeping an eye out for the next gate or fence post.
What Makes It Worth It
Every job like this is a chance to help preserve and protect infrastructure that matters — especially when it comes to heritage properties. Whether it’s inspecting switchboards, checking for overheating, or identifying small issues before they become large repairs, our aim is always the same: make things safer, more reliable, and easier to maintain.
It’s also a reminder that no two inspections are ever the same — especially when you’re working with the National Trust, historic assets, and rural environments.
Why CIRTA?
At CIRTA, we’re not just about ticking boxes. We bring tools, experience, and a keen eye to every site. Whether it’s a solar farm, factory roof, or remote heritage property — we’re there to find what matters, and fix what can be fixed. It’s about doing the job right, no matter the setting.
